Daniel P. Keenan
Daniel P. Keenan is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in Maine and New Hampshire. Before joining McCloskey, Mina, Cunniff & Frawley, LLC, Dan worked for two years at another Portland-based law firm where he advocated on behalf of clients in state and federal court. Daniel graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law in 2016, where he was a member of the Maine Law Review and the Trial Team.
Prior to law school, Daniel received his B.A. from Loyola University Maryland and then moved to Belgium, where he attended graduate school at the Katholieke Universiteit in Leuven, receiving his master’s degree, and later worked in Brussels. As a result of his time abroad, he speaks Dutch (Flemish dialect) fluently. Daniel is also a dual citizen with Ireland.
Daniel is a member of the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project’s pro bono panel of attorneys, where he represents indigent individuals seeking asylum here in the United States. He is also a corporator at the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Maine, where he sits on various committees for the club, and is a member of Rippleffect’s young professionals committee. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, exploring the vast food culture of Maine, and taking advantage of New England’s beautiful outdoors. Daniel now lives in Portland.
